After about 10 months it would cut off after running a short time on the stay on setting. Tried to reset pushing the button on the plug in was not successful. Unplugged for 30 min to an hour (according to the troubleshooting tips) to see if that would help but it would still cut off after about 5 minutes. So frustrated!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are happy with our purchase of the Holmes Bathroom Heater Fan with Preheat Timer. We use them in the winter to heat bathrooms and also our sunroom. We like the thermostat control and the preheat timer so we dont waste energy. They make the bathroom cozy warm when taking a bath or shower. Its a great product.

Only negative is, once the start timer is set, it must be reset each day, after the auto shutoff, time is reached.

Had the heater 2 days used it one night went to turn it on tonight the heater does not come on and when I try to turn on the fan all I hear is a click that's it would not recommended this heater
