Heater Breaks & Will Not Last A Winter

This heater was too good to be true. If you use it everyday, expect it to break right at the 1 year mark, regardless of how gently it is treated. Mine was mounted on the wall and worked up to a point ... By spring, the fan would not work as it had before, and then it stopped turning on ever. The heater works well, until it breaks.... And it breaks a lot sooner than it should, for all of its bells and whistles, I would trade the features for s simple heater that can be counted on to last a season, at least!!! The last space heater I had was $19.99 and lasted 6 years before breaking, and this was a pleasant surprise, but I am not unreasonable to expect this heater, once mounted safely on the wall, to have worked beyond the 1 year limited warranty. It barely limped to the finishline, but I should have taken the first glitchy "symptoms" more seriously and contacted the company about repairs. I would advise other owners to expect disappointment if they ignore the signs.

I don't know why I waited so many years and suffered a chilly shower room! This heater is wonderful and much more than I expected for the price.
I can preset it to turn on in the morning before I get up, and it is quiet and efficient. It has a reliable thermostat and fan and has made my life SO much nicer, but I am getting older and I deserve it! Lol

I purchased the heater for a restroom in our office (8.5' x 5.5') which is on the corner of the building. Even when the furnace was keeping the rest of the office warm, the rest room is chilly and uncomfortable in the winter. The heater solved the problem. We keep the door closed, and the room temperature can be made as warm as you like it. It has average noise for that type of heater, but that isn't an issue for us. The thermostat makes it easy to monitor. I thought the price was very reasonable.

I have tried to find a bathroom heater for some time now only to find a tag on the heater that This heater is not to be used in a bathroom, When I finely found this heater it was listed in a catalog store and when I contacted that store with a question they could not answer they put me in touch with there supply company who in turn put me in touch with Holmes and I can't thank them enough that tghey did. I called customer service and that was all I needed to do. All my questions were answered and I bought two of these heaters, at first I though it was a little small but then I pluged it in and wow!!!! did not take long to heat my room and and it is made for a bathroom, I used it for a couple days and then i mounted on the wall with the mounting bracket that came with the heater, I can't say enough about this heater, I really think you will like it too.

We had had great performance from another Holmes heater some years ago, plus the Bathroom Heater was on sale when we were ready to purchase. We are very happy with our purchase thus far.
