Noise generator

Purchased a replacement of the same model that finally bit the dust. The first one was great, efficient and relatively quiet on lower settings. Brand new out of the box and this thing is a noise generator that would rival a coffee grinder on all settings.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have asthma due to bad allergies. This stops the itching of my throat at night so I can sleep peacefully.

we both sleep with c-pac machines, and just had a new unit air condition installed in the house and all air vents blown cleaned out $$$$ due to 20yrs not cleaned and 20 year broke down air condition unit ..clean air clean unit vents(10) so i wanted filtered air filters for each bedroom. help with .allergy/ and sinus problems

Stained walls

I bought this product about two months ago and now u have to reprint my home because it has caused staining of my walls, I have three dogs but we keep my hous as dust free as possible, we bought the product because our neighbors are always burning yard debri and it was annoying and now I'd rather smell the smoke because it's a lot better then having a black film on the walls of your home that is not even a year old...
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Rating for dusty birds misleading

The pet dander does not cover my example. I am using 3 in an 8 by 15 room. My room is a pet room where I have 2 cockatiels. I must change prefillters every 2 months and the hepa filters every 4 months.

Easy to operate

I purchased two of these units for use in specific rooms to assist in keeping the air in good order for breathing. All of my family has allergies and most are associated with "mold". So far they seem to do a good job for the time they have been in placed.
