I bought this item for my 30' boat. I ran my regular space heater during days and nights when I am on board after work. It keeps the boat from getting clam and moldy. During the day, the non-temp control heaters create enormous heat in a small space in a boat. Every time I opened the door to my boat a heatwave always comes blowing out. Non-temperature space heaters are also very dangerous when left unattended - especially on a boat, BUT this temperature control heater give me piece of mind. I have it running at 70 Fahrenheit and now the heat is perfect!! This heater also has a very modern and more attractive design than the regular ugly ones. I am buying another one for a lady for her sail boat. She really likes this one too.

I love the fact that this heater has a digital control so I can set the temp exactly as I like. Perfect for an 8X10 bunk house I made for my camp. This heater can put out way more heat than I need for my 8X10 bldg.

Burned heater plug

It was a gift for me and I used it three times while attended. On the 3rd use I smell burned electronic. I unplug my heater the plastic part stick from the outlet. I am glad that caught it right away or else next thing I know our house is on fire.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
