Very frustrating

I've barely had the fan for two weeks and it makes a horrible rattle. I bought it because it was advertised as being quiet. I just wasted 45 dollars
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Highly recommend this product for sure!

Purchased this fan for my picky son, he was so pleased! Originally I set out to select one for these main reasons. It has to look like it belongs in his room, blend in with nice furniture, not look cheap & flimsy, more than a few features that we could actually use, quiet, a known brand, yet reasonable (I'm on a limited income& known to stretch a dollar)! To my surprise this fan had all the features above I was hoping I could find without a ridiculous price attached! It has served us 3yrs now & I got to tell you, still is quiet as the day we set it up. Trust me we have gotten our monies worth with a brand name we trust over time, very satisfied, not sorry in the least.
I would recommend this to a friend!

loud rattling noise after 2 months

It worked great initially and kept the room very comfortable but last week it started making a very loud rattling noise in oscillate mode as well as non oscillate mode. I wish I could find my receipt so I could return it

Absolutely terrible.

Developed a rattle shortly after purchase. I took the fan apart to see if there was some sort of rubbing or something creating the noise. Unfortunately, the rattle is actually coming from inside the motor housing. Even if I could get the housing disassembled, I'm not sure I could fix the issue. It could be the brushes, it could be anything. Terrible buy.

Bad rattling noises after a month

I purchased 2 of these fans, they were great at first, very quiet & powerful. Then after just over a month it started making a very loud rattling noise when it's oscillating. So loud! Now this fan can only be aimed in one place, the rattling is too loud to sleep through. Second fan started doing the same thing a week after the first. Go figure!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Broken oscillator

After a couple years' use the oscillator mechanism broke.

Rattle developed within 2-3 months

Unfortunately, this fan did not last very long before it became noisy and not in a white noise way. It's a rattle. Now much noisier than a normal fan.
