Works great even cooking but chipping appeared on burner grills. Does not look as nice after less than 12 months.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

WHEN WE DECIDED THAT THE GE-APPLIANCES WERE THE ONES WE WANTED ESPECIALLY WITH SO MANY DIFFERENT FEATURES THAT ARE TO A COOK'S ADVANTAGE AND THEN THE COLOR (SLATE) WHICH IS SMUDGE PROOF, OMG. I WOULD NEVER LOOK FOR ANOTHER APPLIANCE. I AM SO HAPPY.

not what i had hoped for

this stove is a disappointment. it was a gift from my husband because i love to cook, but this is more of a challenge than pleasureable. we have had it a couple of months and there is inconsistencies in the stove top and it appears the oven glass is compromised as evidenced by streaks in the glass showing up when using the oven.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
