Last cookware you will ever buy

Bought this set of stainless steel cookware in 1974. Still use it every day. Looks like new.
Will never buy anything else.
Guests are amazed my set is 47 years old. They think I just purchased it.
Bought sets for each of my4 children. Didn’t want them eating Teflon.

I have a set of these my mother bought for me for a shower gift in 1977. They still looks as good as new. If these are the same as they were back then I'm sure my daughter will enjoy them also. I cant say enough good about them. My mother had a set also and they were much older than mine.

I bought these pots for my brand new electric cooktop and I purchased a few other “Classic” pieces and they are awesome. They are sturdy and I am sure will last a very long time. The bottoms are flat as a pancake which is so important for an electric cooktop. The heat is evenly distributed which makes cooking quicker. A really good value for the price, it can’t be beat. I just love these pots. Told my Mom and Sister about them and they bought them too.

Back in 1968, I bought a set of 3-ply cookware made. (Could it have been Townecraft? Hmm)There were 3sizes of pans w lids, a Dutch oven, and a large frying pan w a lid that fit both of the last two. Maybe there were more pieces, but I can’t remember.
I have made thousand of meals in them. Some were great, some were not. No fault of the cookware, but of the cook. The pans have been scrubbed and scoured, and I used my electric mixer in them all the time. So they don’t look brand new. But they still look decent and are still v workable. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy another set.

My mother bought this similar series as a bridal shower gift for me 37 years ago! (Farberware was the make of her pots and pans). What a great solid brand, my set still looks and cooks like new after 37 years (I can’t believe I have been married that long)!

Don't buy!

I purchased this set of cookware 3 months ago and I threw it out this morning. After using the 1 qt saucepan a couple of times it developed black spots on the inside of the pot. I will never purchase this brand agai. It is pure junk and a waste of money.

Stainless or not?

Ive only used my pots a few times since January and the inside looks damage from the hot food.
They are not easy to clean and I wash them by hand. I use to have a nonstick cheaper set of this brand and it lastest for several years. This classic was more expensive and in my opinion is not the best.

Thank you for your review, and we're sorry to hear about your cookware. Occasionally stainless steel may exhibit a rainbow-like discoloration. This discoloration is normal for new stainless steel product. Such discoloration may also take place if the product is exposed to higher temperatures. As long as the product has not been overheated, this rainbow-like discoloration should be easy to remove. To remove, use Bar Keepers Friend® cleanser and a soft, nonabrasive sponge. Be sure to rinse thoroughly as cleansers can leave a powdery residue. Lemon juice will remove the 'rainbow' effect as well.
