[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the Coin Counting Jar and that it did what it says. Really cool to keep track of your savings. I found that it was a little hard to push the coin through, but hopefully it will ease up with time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love this coin counting jar. It correctly counts my coins as I place them in the slot. It is not like most counting jars that miscount this jar is actually accurate! No need to worry about recounting for yourself.

Saving Money Can Be Fun!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got this for our 8 year old grandson to help encourage him to start saving money. At first it seemed more like a toy for him because he enjoyed watching the coins being calculated as he pushed them through the coin slot. (That did take a few minutes of practice to make sure he did not insert the coin too fast or too slow for an accurate count!) Over time he became more excited using the money jar as he could actually visualize how much money he had collected. We are now trying to help him patiently realize how the number of coins and the total amount of money calculated on the top of the jar relate to being able to purchase something he wants to buy!
The outside of the box shows a recommendation of age 3+, but written descriptions of this product online indicated that it was best for 8+. The 8+ is definitely a more realistic age for getting the most from this Discovery coin-counting money jar.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this last week. It accurately counts the coins being put in the container! Definitely recommend this to friends and family. I definitely love it as it does exactly what it is supposed to do. It didn’t come with batteries but it’s ok as I had just purchased the needed batteries for it!

I’m impressed by the quality of this as well, it doesn’t seem geared towards kids and looks to be high quality.

Slow, but works well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great bank for anyone. I know it’s marketed for kids, but we use it as our “loose-change/fun fund”. It’s a large jar (bigger than a mason jar), with a screw top. You drop the change in the top and it calculates the coin and the total amount. It does what it is supposed to do, however it is a “slow” product. It takes some time to drop the change and have the jar calculate it. It requires batteries.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It helps them with addition and subtraction. I really love the design and how simple it is to use. I highly recommend.
