quietest vacuum ever with power

this is the quietest vacuum and has great suction power. Picks up dog hair like no other! only wish the attachments came with this.

Lots of greats, a few big cons

We own a cleaning business and were looking for something great on all surfaces. This delivers on a few big things.
Pros:
-Excels on all hard surfaces. It's a beast on hardwoods, tile, and so on. No kickback, no flying hair or dust. Sucks it all in even close to walls and baseboards. No scuffing from bumper or wheels. Just turn off rotating brush and you're good. Nice maneuverability as well.

-Great on low to med pile carpeting or rugs. Picks up dirt and pet hair with spinning brush active.
-Neat feature where you can detach the handle and it becomes an extension cleaning wand for hard to reach areas. There are a couple cons to this as I will explain later.
-Transition from bare floors to low - medium carpet or rugs is excellent.
-I like the bagless canister, and it's easy to empty.
-On/off switch and spinning brush option conveniently located.
Cons:
-Sadly it does NOT perform well on high pile carpet or rugs. No adjustable height option is unfortunate. If spinning brush is in motion, it gets caught up in it and disables the brush entirely, requiring you to push the reset button. If the spinning brush is turned off, it will not budge along high pile carpet.
-Where are the optional tools they claim are available for this vacuum?? Not cool to release a vacuum without making the accessories available as well. I've tried looking everywhere... Not even the samsung official site could help me! (dusting wand / pet hair mini head / small attachment for stairs / furniture/ etc.) If and when the tools come out for this, there is nowhere to place them on the vacuum, making access to these cumbersome.
-Suction power when handheld option is in use is lacking as it relies on a small motor independent from the motors on the main part of the vacuum.
-Tip factor- it's very top heavy so it tips over easily. The little handheld canister that sticks out on the top portion of the handle is just asking to get busted up when it crashes to the floor.
-It's not the lightest vacuum, but I've wrestled heavier.
-Short cord. Wish it were 30-40 feet instead of only about 26 feet or so.
We ended up keeping it because we haven't found another vacuum that works on hardwood floors and other hard surfaced flooring quite like this machine does. We keep another vacuum with us for high pile carpeting and stairs, which is unfortunate. I really wish we could just find one vacuum that dies everything!
I gave it four stars simply because it is so amazing on hard floor surfaces and low-med carpet and it picks debris and hair up close to edges.
Pros: excellent on hard surfaces & low-med pile carpet
Cons: accessory tools advertised on box not available, not good on high pile carpet or high pile rugs

I used my new vacuum yesterday and I loved it ! I just wish the accessories would not have to be ordered extra .

Good Vacuum For Me, A Sr. Citizen

I shopped for a good buy, with available service and a good warranty. The Samsung had all these. It's operation is simple and good. It is compact and easy to store. It is light enough to be easy for a senior citizen to carry and operate. Bag-less is a plus in a small town where bags are not always available. Good all around vacuum for me.
Pros: Inexpensive, Lightweight

Powerful suction

I really like this vacuum. The suction is powerful to pick all of my dog's hair with ease. And I can see it through the bag less window. I love the fact that it can detached and turn into a handheld vacuum. I've used it to vacuum my car, drapes and the vents in my house. This vacuum is pretty amazing. I would recommend it to a friend.

I tried to register this vacuum #SU12F70SA but the automated date system only goes to Dec 31, 2014. I bought this today, Jan 2, 2015 - So I entered bought date as Dec 31, 2014.
Pros: Lightweight

I bought this vacuum because of my great satisfaction with my other Samsung products, 3-TV's, 2-Cell Phones, etc. However, this is only my 2nd. bad review where I need to vent with regards to my purchase. (1st. one was on another mfg.s product.) This Vacuum is not easy to use, it has no light to see what it missed while vacuuming. And there were no accessories as advised by the sales person and on the box and on the paper work inside the box! When I purchased this item! My cordless vacuum picks up three times the lint, dust bunnies, etc. compared to this vacuum! Example, I ran this vacuum up and down my hallway, (14' x3') 4 times and still there was cat litter and several dust bunnies left behind, I even sat the vacuum over the 2 dust bunnies and it still left them there when I moved it! By the way, I vacuum my home every other day, with two cats and two dogs it's a necessity. For the price that I paid for this item, I would have expected it to do a great job on both my wall to wall carpeting and my hard wood floors. But it did a lousy job on both. And yes I did make sure that I had the correct floor setting before I used the vacuum. I'm threw with this poor excuse for a vacuum! Well guess what, I'm taking the vacuum back to the store where I bought it and will buy their competitor's model. For those of you who are happy with your vacuum, I'm glad, it seems that mine is junk!
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, missing a floor light & accessories
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Excelent Vacuum Cleaner

Mi wife and I love this vacuum cleaner, excellent for our home, it gets the job done fast and extremely well, we've owned all kinds of mainstream vacuum cleaners but, none are close to be as good as this one thus far. Highly recommended.
