I have the 17 piece set. It was a wedding gift 42 years ago. The pots and pans still look new. The handles are a little faded. And the one handle on the 8 qt. pot is cracked, but I think for 42 years that is to be expected. I find them very easy to clean, and they have been through a lot over the years. Sometimes I have to scrub them. I was them in the dishwasher. To keep them shiny I use vinegar in my dishwasher. This leaves them sparkling. Thank you Farberware for a wonderful product. I highly recommend your products.

I have two 8qt that belonged to my mother n law. they are over 30 years old. I love them. i bought my neice a set 2 years ago for christmas and she loved them. they are beautiful and they have stainless steele lids. i want to buy my step dau and her husband a set. they have 3 children and cook a lot.

I bought this 17 piece cookware set back in May 2017 for our new home. Ever since we opened the box (it was brand new), all of the pots leak. There is no hole, its not from boiling water bursting from the top... They just leak onto nt stove top causing bubbles all around the rim of the pot. The pans are fine, its just the pots. I never said anything because they were on clearance so I knew I couldn't return them, and I am not even sure if I still have my receipt, I would have to look. Now that Christmas is approaching, I'm getting a new set which is what reminded me to say something.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I purchased this set for my future daughter in law ans she loves it. I have owned Farberware for over 40 years now and it has served me well. I even have a few of my mom's pieces (after she passed) that are still going strong. These pots/pans are quality you can depend on. Not sure why the other person said they were junk, perhaps he/she misused their pans. They do require you to use them properly.

I recevied my first and only set of Faberware Classic cookeware for my bridal shower, over 53 years ago and they have definetly been used everyday and they look as good today as they did 53 years ago
