When I went to buy a blue ray DVD player and took it home, I did not know it had WiFi
Capabilities. With utube, Amazon, and Pandora. It blew my mind as to what I had.

BD-H5900 easy setup

This Blu-ray DvD player was easy to set up. It's too new to see how it will last. I almost didn't get another Samsung because the last one barely made four years before having performance difficulties like being unable to read a disc. I'm hoping this one lasts better.
The instructions also all state that the TV codes to program your remote are in the manual. They aren't. I had to look them up online. This remote is apparently unable to work with my TV (though the remote from the last Samsung Blu-ray DvD player could!) Go figure! Enough of a hassle that I would recommend but with caution.

Bought the dvd player because the old one could not be updated for Internet anymore. The online setup was extremely easy and fast. We watch Netflix a lot and the connectivity is very fast and the image is very sharp. Being older folks, the size of the remote is really nice, with larger buttons and more room between them. Oh yeah, dvd playback is really good and all the readout information is really helpful.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color

My blue ray player

Bought this to replace an older DVD player that was having trouble with many older disks. It would freeze up and restart the movie. Hooked this up to my LED TV via a HDMI cable and powered up. After a few moments I was able to load the WIFY info for my home and then loaded my Netflix and Amazon Prime movie info. Now we have a smart TV and can watch just about anything we want to with the push of a button. The set up is simple for the average computer savvy person and if necessary most people could find a friend to help with the first time set up.
Pros: Inexpensive, Lightweight
