It kept me going in circles trying to find deductions that I did not have or need. Just wanted a simple way to file.

Easy to use for beginners or tax experts

In the sections for "Wages and Income" and "Deductions and Credits", you are given two choices: "EasyGuide" (for beginners) or "Explore on my Own" (for those experienced with filing taxes). "EasyGuide" takes you though step by step, while "Explore..." gives an overview of all the items and amounts. You can easily switch from one mode to the other if you want to double check everything. I have used H&R Block At Home before. Both are excellent, but for beginners TurboTax may be a little better.

An excess HSA contribution held me up for an hour. The instructions on how to fix this had me going back to 2010 and 2009. It turned out they had nothing to do with the problem, but I consistently got a message that I could no efile because of it..... I like to override the auto depreciation for my husband's work vehicle, because I choose NOT to take depreciation write-off. I got a message that I could not efile if I overrode that deduction. I've done it in years past with no problems.... AND, REACHING YOU THROUGH YOUR NEW "GET PROFESSIONAL TAX HELP" IS IMPOSSIBLE. I WENT THROUGH PAGE AFTER PAGE OF QUESTIONS, NEVER GOT THE OPPORTUNITY TO TALK WITH ANYONE, AND COULD NOT GET A PHONE NUMBER ANYWHERE TO PHONE YOU. USELESS.

We"ve been using your programs for 6 or 7 years now. We love'm. They are easy to use as far as data entry is concerned. The program walks a person right thru it, simply answer the questions. If you make a mistake or don't know the answer, you can skip it and go back to it later ( car registration, charities, ect...). It usually takes us an 1 1/2 hours to walk thru it, quick and easy! Great program. Oh, and it saves us $300 to $500 a year in tax preparation (no S--t).
