Made Me Money

The Turbotax system is very easy to understand and it asks many questions that I would never think of. Also, all the information is checked before filing the tax return and is printed on the tax forms in the proper place. I have been using Turbotax for the past 5 years and am very happy with the whole process. Thanks, Turbotax.

Gets harder every year

It seems that the entry to turbo tax gets more confusing and difficult each year. Several years ago it was very simple but now it is much more difficult. For instance it was not clear how to enter the dividend information. It did not appear that the identifying information was coming up from last year as it said I would have to enter it by hand since there was no corresponding institution to mine. What it was actually saying was that I would have to enter the figures myself but this was never clear. Other areas are similarly confusing. Most confusing to me is the W2 issue. Being retired I do not have any W2s but turbo tax kept asking for them even though I entered that I did not have any. It took three times with this before It would submit my return. I am still not certain that it will go through since I did some fiddling to get it to accept the return without the W2.

worth the convenience

Having tried and used several different tax programs I keep returning to Turbo Tax, I am usually able to purchase with some of rebated soft ware (i.e. NAV). This year I used the state programs for filing and found that they were expensive, but convenient and easy to use. Will but Turbo Tax next year but do the states separately as in the past

they step you thru each process and it's so simple, have been using this for years and never had a problem. much easier then having to use a caculator, great program. thanks
