Filed FED return

I have been using Turbo Tax for a number of years and it is basically easy to use. However, I had trouble trying to use the State tax forms because I couldn't remember the ID Code and the Password. Too confusing for me. I'm an older guy and had a problem with so I decided to do it manually. Too many ID's and Passwords.

Bottom line is that after doing my own tax returns for more than 50 years, TurboTax makes doing them -- forgive me for saying this -- almost fun! It's no where near the drudgery of doing them by hand.

A question about a form kept popping up 8891. I could not find a quick answer. and after checking out SUPPORT, I wanted to telephone,But No number was shown. I found the source of the problem, after reviewing every single entry, and wasting a lot of time. thus my rating was only four stars.
Only a real live person can satisfy an irate customer.

Once again the software guided you though filling out the tax form. There were no issues. I did like that you did not have to go though the Santa Barbara bank to get your refund, it was just deposited to my bank account with no charges. That is a plus from earlier. (Last year I mailed the forms in)

another turbo tax year

I use turbo tax every year and they try to make it better each year. this year the ability to hop around the various parts is limited or at least not intuitive as previous years. The state tax add on option has always been IMHO over priced as state taxes are simple after doing federal and double dipping for file fee and program is just over the top. I was glad to see a return of the filing fee built into the purchase price of off the shelf copies like in past but not so last year. To be honest I almost didn't buy it this year until i discovered this had returned. Turbo tax is still the gold standard to compare the rest to tho as I have tested others and intuit does do the best job from a user prospective. Thank you guys for another successive year of filing.
