Have used TurboTax basic for years. Easy to use, and is quick with updates on tax changes. Worth not having to use H&R Block or other services. Very fast filing and expected refund date.

High Quality, Easy to Use, Costs a Little too Much

I love how Turbo Tax brings in last year's information that's relevant to this year's -- I don't have to go hunting for my last year's tax information. I love the thoroughness of it, and the option of either having it ask you questions or go through it yourself.
I wish the basic still cost a bit less (went up 33% over last year)--that is a significant increase for exactly the same service I had last year. I also think the cost of the state tax option is simply too high and that the state filing fee is also too high. It's too close to the cost of having an accountant do it for you.

Had no idea the state filing would cost an additional 42.50 + 19.95 to file!!! Very disappointing.

I have been using turbo tax for several years now and plan on using again next year. As frustrating & aggrivating as tax time is turbo tax has always been able to keep me focused & I have been happy with my return.
