1st time User struggled with where to put misc expenses and help was terribly helpful. difficult to be able to search then go to the place on the form to enter the info. I wanted to edit some info but it wasn't easy to navigate from one section to another.
Also paid once for upgrade and then again when filing which wasn't cool.
I want to know the full price instead of completing all the information to find out I need to pay more money. It would be better to get a price list to show each item and the cost upfront.

Too much data entry

We have used Turbotax for years because of its accuracy and ability to view how the data appears on our actual tax forms. However, data entry requirements have increased over the years and includes things that aren't required for filing the return. Turbotax seems to assume that we don't have any receipts or records of our tax related transactions and that we must enter every detail into Turbotax.
Examples include: Requiring name and address for each cash charity contribution even though only the total of all cash contributions appears on the return. Having to enter every detail from W-2's although only the income and tax withheld are relevant. Entering detail about our car usage even though we want to use the standard per mile deduction. Generating several worksheets that we don't need since we already have records of this information.
Please allow people who keep receipts and financial records to by-pass entering all of this detail into Turbotax.

No problems in getting Extension and filing later

Everything was saved in my computer and I was able to add information and file in July with no problem. Called for tax help and received free verbal advice. Definitely worth the money! I use Turbo Tax every year!

Easy way to file taxes - have used other filing programs and this is very easy. Also dialog boxes lets you know status or what to do next.
