Fast and easy

Turbo Tax 2011 was very easy to use. Simple guestion and answer format, The Turbo Tax program guides you through the entry. My taxes were completely done and submitted electronicly in just one hour. I love this tax program!

Too much peddling

I have used TT for at least 12 years and always been satisfied with the results.
I am not trilled about the assidual peddling of extra product, services, credit cards etc.

Is difficult to print to a file, in other words save any print job to a PDF file to be read or printed later.
If you do not have a printer connected you can not always save to a file.

2011 deduction

I support my parents and they live with me. They file taxes for social security and disability, but I can't take them as a deduction with your software. This section needs to be corrected.

The program left out a crucial form costing me over $500. Questions not very intuitive and easy to misunderstand. Program doesn't "guide" you correctly.

I trust TurboTax!

I have been using TurboTax (and its predecessor for Macintosh) for roughly 10 years. Haven't been audited yet, knock on wood! I am impressed every year because TurboTax asks me if I qualify for legal deductions I am eligible for that I didn't know about and reminds me about sources of income that I would have forgotten if I was doing it by myself. It's quick, easy, and I trust TurboTax to make sure I pay what's fair and what I owe but no more than that. I answer the questions and enter the amounts with absolute honesty so if I was ever questioned I could look them right in the eye. TurboTax has trained me to keep more effective records through the year so I have the right documentation, I can find the information to answer TurboTax's questions and complete all the forms. And all that for only $30, what a deal! I am a huge TT fan!
