Loved it! I've been using Turbo Tax since 2005. I wouldn't use anything else, no matter how great everyone says their product is. Second look? Who needs it? If its done right the first time (like Turbo Tax does it) there's no need for a Second Look. You do rock!

Problems with Schedule E

I entered all my 1099 Misc's correctly. When the final review was performed, an error indicated that I whould have a seperate entry of schedule E for different properties. What I had was royalties and a seperaate rental for the same property. I tried everything I could think of to insure what I entered was correct. But, nothing I could do seemed to correct the problem. I know the amounts shown on the 1040 were actually correct. I just could not figure out how to correct the error Turbo Tax was reporting, the system help provided was totally useless to me and I could not fix or edit the problem manually.
As a result of the problem the system would not allow me to file electronically and I had to mail in the return.
Something needs to be fix in the system if you identify a problem but do not provide specific information on how to correct the issues or allow them to be edited.
If this causes my return to be audited, I will not be happy.

A Bumpy Road

Had trouble with the return putting in form 6252 when I didn't need it. Took a while to figure out how to get that form out of my return. Would have been a piece of cake otherwise.

1. don't fully understand health saving account info; it doesn't seem to be listed on my W2 2. the pin number or SSN didn't work and the Turbo Tax person said they had a lot of trouble with that from others also 3. people were very friendly but results weren't complete. 4. somehow I lost my CA tax return on my machine, so even though the fed was still there I had to pay twice to get my CA completed. At least I didn't have to re-enter the info. I will use TurboTax again and tell others too, but it should be a little easier to reach a live person. Elaine Beidatsch
