2011 tax return

i want a tax program that treats me like a $500 cpa and asks questions i might not know to ask; and then move on.
i have used different tax programs in the past, this is my 3 year running; still my favorite.
i tried the free HR one, i didn't like it in comparison to
this program.

I've used TurboTax for years and this is the easiest it has ever been. My taxes are not very complicated but more than the 1040-EZ could handle.

Unexpected Fees

Turbo tax is really quick and easy to use. BUt there are way too many unexpected fees. I paid $30 for the federal returns disc and then i was filing it out was asked for another $45 to file state taxes. Then at the end it prompted me that I was going to be charged $19.95 for filling state taxes and $19.95 for federal taxes.. okay, then when I was on the last page the total fee was $49.99..?? What is this extra $10 charge? It would be nice if you knew to expect these extra charges and what they were for

TTax 2011

I have been a Turbo Tax user for fifteen years and
for the last two I have had to call technical assistance
due to errors in the program. This year I could not
print my return. One problem I needed Adobe upgraded
to a latter virson. The virson I had installed worked last
year and you should be informed and that needs to be part of the procedures while loading the program.
After loading a new addition of Adobe Return would
still not print from the menu and I had to open it
in PDF and print from there.
Each year your product seem to lack the quality that
it had when I firstt used it 15 years ago. What should
have taken 2 hours took me 2 days. I may try
some other Tax Program next year

TurboTax gets better and better every year, and we've used it for almost a decade. There is no more painless way to deal with federal and state tax responsibilities. We recommend TT to all of our friends and family!
