Fairly quick and easy

I have been using TurboTax for several years and wouldn't use anything else. It it straightforward and quite simple to use, expecially with my company and most of my banks having an electronic download of data. I started and finished in about an hour. On the negative side, it seems every year the program includes more and more advertising for additional Intuit products - they are now integrated right into the steps, which can be quite irritating.

Patience & Persistence

I've used TurboTax for years now and have always highly recommended this software. During this year's tax preparation I had the need to call the Help Desk (first time ever). The agent who helped me showed immeasurable patience while I walked her thru the issue I had. She never failed to "give up the ghost". Rather, she persisted doggedly until the answer was, at last, exposed. And, as fate would have it, the error that had been created was done during my tax input. Yikes, I hate when that happens. Nonetheless, I do appreciate all the effort this gal put into finding the solution for me.

2011 Tax Return

There is nothing wrong with my tax return, yet it was rejected. Message was that I used the same social security number for both people on a joint return. I did not make that mistake, so why was it rejected?

I thought the state was expensive, especially when considering cost of filing as well. I realize I will get a refund in time, but that was a little time consuming and confusing. The only other thing I did not care for was having to go back and figure out how to delete need for W-2 info when none were involved.
Over-all though, I like the product and find it almost fun to work with. Expect to use it next year if price is right.

Tubo Tax Disappointment

I've been using Turbo Tax for the last 10+ years and I've always went to the store and purchased the CD for about 29 to 35 dollars. Well this year I purchased the program online for 29.95 and then I realized I had to purchase the state download for an additional 39.96. I should of just went to the store and got fed and state for less than $50.00. Will never recomend the online download and will never do that again. I migh not even use turbo tax again.
