Most of my friends use an accountant to do taxes. I still use TurboTax and intend on doing so in future.

Ripped Off

I've seen this companies ads for years. Now I see why they still have so many ads. They are crooks. I paid
$$ 30.00 for turbo tax program. I paid $$ 45.00 to e-file my federal taxes which were supposed to be free! I also paid another $$20.00 for my state tax which was the only one the box said I would have to pay to e-file. A grand total of $$ 95.00 !! The only reason I paid it is because its April 15th and I have work tomorrow. I could have paid some pencil pusher half of this and not spent 4 hours in front of my PC. Thank you TurboTax. Now I am walking funny. But guess what? Your clear and gross false advertisement isn't free. I will never for the rest of my life use TurboTax again. I will make sure my children, family, and friends, and strangers know of my experience. I also call the local radio stations talk show which is on mornings in atleast 10 towns and 3 states in CT,MA, and RI. I will call time and again to recall my experience with you. People never remember the good things they here, only the bad. Thank you for wasting 4hours of my life and $$ 100. of my money. You don't care. I know. But you should be ashamed. You have done this to probably tens of thousands of people. Good Luck.

It is very very difficult to go wrong using TurboTax. I have been using it for probably 25 years. At one point back in the late 80's I used the professional version and did easy returns for friends. It wasn't very long after that I was hooked. I have been using it ever since.
