Its a great program. Don't pay your taxes without it.
However, it needs some tweaks
1. There is no free help for TurboTax issues. I understand that tax advise needs a cost. I needed to make a change to a foreign tax entry. I could not enter this value in the step by step method. I had to go to the form to make this change. I'm still not sure how I got through this trouble.
2. With alternative tax, you ask for a value ISO Adjustment to Long and short term Gain and Loses. This needs a work sheet to step us through. I have a large quantity of stock transaction data a no good way to figure out how to provide a value to TurboTax. If I get audited, its going to be on this point.

THE ACTUAL APPLICATION WAS NOT DIFFUICULT FOR ME. THE INSTRUCTIONS WERE EASY ENOUGH, JUST HAD SOME UNEXPECTED QUESTIONS DUE TO CHANGES IN MY IRA'S AND THAT WAS NEW FOR ME. I CHOSE NOT TO USE THE ASSISTANCE AND FINALLY I UNDERSTOOD WHAT WAS NEEDED. OVERALL I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT FOR TAX PREPARATION

Great tool, lousy cost stricture

As a TaxCut veteran, the TurboTax online verwion was very simple to use. I completed my return with no problems. I filed federal and paid the fee, only to find that I would need to pay the fee 6 more times for my kids. They have very simple returns: a little income, a little investment income, dividends, capital gains. I tried to find a way to use the online payment to help pay for a desktop version. Unsuccessful, I ended up paying for both an online and desktop version.

Made selection to print too complicated. Last years T Tax provided bset info to save. This year could no seledt items not wanted.
