I use only the basic for Fed tax only. I am uncomfortable using the on-line free version and think that the basic version on CD should be lower in price or a return user rebate might be considered.

TT just keeps getting better! This year 2 daughters-in-law worked at a small business partnership, and I didn't know whether TT Basic would accommodate that. Once Schedule K-1 was available & downloaded, it was a snap. Thanks, Intuit! It's great to be able to import from year to year.

The time to connect to Turbo-Tax is way too excessive.
When I reenter the existing file to continue, TurboTax
seems to start anywhere it wants to. It never restarted in the same place, or where I left off. Sometimes it was
at the beginning and I had to go page by page----
Two years back, 2009 it was much better.

Last year , we E -filed the Mi. state forms & ended up paying $360 in taxes when 95% of the total earnings was in pensions & Michigan doesn't charge taxes on the amount we made ! Hence, we are filing on our own for state returns this year. T-tax blew it some how !
