Worst tax system ever...

It is such an awesome program that I spent 45 minutes doing my taxes and wasn't able to e-file. I tried every fix listed on their support site and some from google. Spent 6 hours trying to get it to work and it never did. The best part is Turbo Tax already charged my credit card for the fees and then can't deliver. I have used Turbo Tax for years and I will never again touch it. I will make sure and tell everyone I know that it is pointless to use turbo tax. there are several other e-file systems out there just as easy and in-expensive to use that actually work.

This was a very frustrating process, and I will be looking for an alternative program in the future. It has changed, for the worse. Not a good experience at all.

Problem w/ Sch K-1 within Sch E

This is the 3rd yr turbo tax has misplaced the information in Part III regarding trusts. In the loss in column (c) there is no figure only the net amount shows in coulmn (d) as income. I was audited over this in 2009. In 2010 I manually changed the amounts and filed through the mail. This year I figured out how to override within the worksheet so I could e-file.
Other than that glich all is good.

I did not like it as well as the ones in the past. I felt it was just too much back and forth. Instead of next, when we changed areas, it would take me back to the main screen and that was not necessary. If next year is not better, I will switch to another program.

I had to overide line K on my state return to get credit for "future scholars" program. If i was unaware of this deduction from prior years, I would have missed it.
