Been a user of this product for many years . Getting better and more information options than a few years ago. BTW, now retired...I miss all that W-2 stuff !! -:)

Tried to download my investment information. Every time I would hit "enter" tab, I would get a message that another program was trying to enter. Both of these programs were from intuit. Did not mattters if I allowed or disallowed, the next time I hit "enter", it would reappear. As a concequence, I had to abandon the downloading, and enter all transactions manually.
Have not had this problem on previous issues of Turbotax. If I have this problem nest year, I will abandon it for another tax soflwear.
Prevous issues have povided a "Tax History Report" for current and previous year for comparison. I can't find anything like that here.

Solved the Missing Font Problem

When I went to review my last return I received a message that my fonts (about 8) needed to be re-registered. This was on the same computer I did my 2010 return a year earlier. I tried following the instructions by Turbo Tax and they didn't work. I called in and they tried to help but finally told me how to get the program on-line
I had just bought the program on a DVD hoping the new 2011 Basic would solve my font problem. It had the same problem with the fonts. So I started working on my taxes using the on-line program .About 6 weeks later I purchased a document filing software, and lo and behold I had the same font problem, even the same missing fonts. However, once I got through to their help desk he said if I let him take control of my computer he would load the necessary fonts on my computer, which he did. Huzzah that program started working fine. I thought, I wonder if my Turbo Tax will work now, they seemed to be all the same fonts. Huzzah, my TT DVD now worked and I was able to e-file without having to pay an additional fee. I recommend you have your technicians have this same capability. Once I got to the technician it took about 15 minutes to let him take control and we checked that it was all working. I used up about 3 different TT technicians for a total of about 5 hours with no success. One other thing, when I went to e-file I didn't realize I had to put in a pin for both my wife and myself, I kept getting you are "just one click away". Perhaps a note both needed a pin when filing jointly.

Could be better

I have done my taxes for some time with Turbo tax, but this time found it nervewracking and not clear as it was before. Is it some young genius or the administration guidelines creating a problem. Not sure if I will do my taxes with Turbo tax next year. I am elderly, but have two college degrees and 76yrs of common sense, so who needs the aggravation.\ Have previously before doing my taxes with software help, did them by hand with the govt. forms. Think it is simpler than this. Hope next year will be better!

Nice to have all the 'explain this' buttons, but the explanations are too hard to read. I have to lean way over my desk to get close enough to read you valuable info. My husband has no chance at reading the small text at all. My monitor is 27 inches, but there seems to be no way to expand your help message text size. We're old - make the print bigger - at least expandable. Please and thank you. Altho I rated you average, it was only because it's so hard to read. Jan & Dale
