Missing info highlighting

At the very end, trying to submit efile, kept getting 'california worksheet' as "just some information we failed to get earlier" Could not get out of the loop for 8 tries - turns out there was a checkbox that had not been checked - but it was not highlighted in any way - FINALLY found it and figured I'd try that - and it worked. But that took me as long as I had spent on the deduction section - PITA.

Turbo credit card issue

just before I efiled there was a TurboTax credit card deal--ity said I would have the option to get it on the next page
I do not want one and never agreed but the promise that
I would have a chance to accept or decline did not work (I was not given an option "on the next page")

It was Easy

Program was easy to use. Took little time and intructions were easy to follow. I have used Turbo Tax for years, did try another program one year, but came back to Trubo Tax the next. Other programs was too hard to figure out the errors that needed correcting.

2011 turbotax

I've been using Ttax for over 10 years. Each of the past five years, I've told myself "if they keep trying to sell me stuff, I will not use it again next year". The problem is the "captive audience" syndrome. The program contains the best program, but is wrapped in a very annoying package. Ask me one time at the outset if I'll buying anything else today. Then STOP!
Updates - How can the program do a 20some meg update on 12March and still need an 8 meg update on 26march? Something is really wrong with that!

Page alignment. There's so much wasted space and silly graphics that you must slide the pages down constantly to handle the input.
Since the .gov seems intent on taking all the income anyway and Ttax seems intent on excessive annoyances each year......you'll be extinct if it continues!

In the Step by Step, stop asking questions re: the State Return once it is determined that you do not have to file a State Return.
