Miserable

Last year at the end Turbo tax 2010 was crashing my laptop but I muddled through. Turbo tax 2011 started crashing my laptop right away. I contacted your help people and opened a case. They said I needed to download a windows upgrade. I did that which was like 50 plus MB. It didn't help...I will be contacting them again to get a refund of my money. I have used turbo tax for many years but I have wasted so much time and effort this year to try to do two simple returns for my family that I will probably try something else next year...

I have used Turbo Tax for several years --. Our return is moderately simple -- changes very little from year to year. My simple return finds Basic to be entirely adequate. Intuit continues to monitor and upgrade -- so the software continues to provide complete mechanics for accurately filling my Federal Income Tax forms -- with a minimum of effort and time.

Very easy to work with

If you want to be able to work as you get your paperwork this is great! This software also allows you to add anything later that you forgot. You can check to see if you would get a refund if you make changes or do something in a different way.
I've used it for many years and love it.

We have a fairly straightforward return. Ordinary and retirement income, a few deductions, one home. Nothing fancy or complicated. TT makes it simple. I could even watch the final of The Masters while completing the return.

This was our first time using Turbo Tax and we thought it was terrific! The step-by-step questions and explanations (if necessary) were extremely helpful. We've always used a professional tax person/company to assist us in filing our taxes but we'll use Turbo Tax from now on.
