Still the best through all these years

I started using TurboTax in the mid '80s, and wouldn't dream of changing.
TurboTax sets the standard for "user-friendly" in the hostile IRS tax filing world.
Updates for tax rules and program mods are always easy, and typically rapidly made available.
Any return more complex than a 1040-EZ should be done with TurboTax.

hard to correct error

I had trouble filing the return because I didn't know how to correct an "error" when I selected spouse died in 2009. Spouse did die in 2009, but that block was only for qualifying widower. When I clicked on the block to remove the "X," nothing happened and there were no instructions how to remove it. I got lucky when I right clicked and was able to override to remove the "X". I shouldn't have had to to override or figure out how to override. Also, I was unaware that the problem prevented the return from being filed. Please make it simpler to correct this error and other errors like it, and make it crystal clear that the return is not done.

I did my returns by hand several weeks ago and found that I would be paying about 2400$ because of capital gains. I was talking with my step-father and he recommended that I get turbo tax. I didn't want to pay the fee, but I am very happy I did. I am now expecting a $1400 refund :)
To be fair it did help me make the decision to invest the maximum into an IRA for both of us, but on top of that, it saved about $1000. Great product. Getting it next year for sure...
