Some problems

Pros/cons captures most of my thoughts.
ALSO, bad coding error--keeps asking for 5 digit pin with birth date and today's date. Then asks again. And again...
Apparently known bug. Hope this gets fixed before 4/17.

1 Would like to be able to navigate to the forms or worksheets my info goes to at any time. Couldn't easily do this.

the numbers are unbelievable - you didnt include the 1099-R and other postings - according to my records the adjusted income is approx 149,446!! there are other missed items from you.

Overall good experience

I've used Turbo Tax for the last 7-8 years with good success. 2011 Turbo Tax "Basic" was user friendly overall, but it wouldn't allow me to automatically download all the W-2 information online as advertised. It would allow downloads for the 1099 info & even the investment docs, but not the W-2's. I assume they were trying to make it more difficult in some ways so that you would upgrade to the "Deluxe" or "Premier" version. Other than that, I thought this years software was better than last year. It should handle everyone's needs if they read the detailed descriptions/help sections on each page as they complete the pages.

I really like the change you made to recording investment income where I was given the option of not asking for a look-up of the security in some database.
Now if you will give me that option the first time I record an investment, that will be even better
