Complicated yet simple

this was an easy way to deal with the usual tax headache. the instructions were easy to follow, covered most if not all bases, even pointed out some deductions I have missed for over the last 10 years.

Much Better than 2010

When errors were found in my 1099 INT for investments - it was time consuming to figure out exactly what the problem was and how to fix it.
When returning to the appropriate pages requiring corrections - if problem were marked somehow would have been much easier - otherwise - good job this year!
Oh, you seem to try to lead people to the Deluxe version - Basic worked fine for all my needs.

Too clumsy for one who knows taxes

Turbo tax seems to work well enough if you know nothing. But I know income taxes and I want to see the itemized deductions I entered, even if the standard deduction is used. Once TT decides a certain form is not needed, I can not get to it off the list, even if there is data in there. You take on too many assumptions. Let me see whatever forms I want to see.

The program is terrific. It's just a bit unnerving to have to wait for the topic you have in your head right now to come up, but it will come up.
