Great help for figuring out taxes!

TurboTax was easy to follow the steps, and the program reminded me (or educated me) on new ways & deductions that helped me get a better tax return than if I had done it by hand. Also it was easier & faster than mailing snail mail. Thank You once again!

Confusing

I love Turbo Tax and have used it for 4 years! But, I still find it extremely confusing when I have to go back to items that I need to redo for whatever reason. I wish there was some kind of a detailed index where I could find each item and just click on it. I have eye problems, and all the staring I have to do to find things again strains them very badly.

1. Can the self-guided approach be made simpler and faster? It's pretty burdensome.
2. Foreign tax credit is not well explained. Also, I have Mutual funds that invest in multiple countries overseas (e.g. Fidelity Latin America Fund- how is anyone supposed to know the breakout of what % is from each country?
3. The Alternative Minimum Tax help and explanation is poor. I've never qualified for AMT but it keeps asking me to check for it.

I have been using Tubo TAx for quite a while and this year's version just seems easier than ever to use and it is thorough enough to cover everything I need at a very reasonable price off the shelf. Highly recommend the Basic version.

Missing Option

There is no obvious way to apply any refund to next year's taxes. You give me the option of direct deposit, or some "refund card" but the screen for refund does not have a button to choose that says "Apply to next year's taxes".
