Basic Features missing

(1) Failed to import last year's data.
Tried On-Line filing last year. I did not have an .Tax data file. TurboTax (Basic) would not import the PDF file generated by the On-Line system. Aggrivating.

(2) You have both my wifes and my data. With a few extra questions, you could automatically create individual returns and joint returns to see which method is most advantageous. At a minimum, you should be able to populate most of the forms in a separate .Tax file.
(3) Your Nickname requirements above are AGGRIVATING! Accept parenthesis, dashes, and spaces so unique names can be created (i.e. "Ron - Dallas")

Did all of a complex return except 8082's

TurboTax is better than any other retail software package I have used over the past 10 years.
This year, I had to mail in a paper Fed return because TurboTax can't do Form 8082's, and I needed them to override bad information on a 1065-K1.
I received a warning message from TurboTax that it could not link a mutual fund with foreign tax withholding to the correct Form 1116. The messge was silly, because you don't need a Form 1116 when filing MFJ with less than $600 foreign tax pre-paid, which was my situation. Why warn me that TurboTax can't find the rieght 1116 if an 1116 is not required?
I had a similar minor problem with a TurboTax bolierplate comment on my Schedule A Misc Deductions Section that a Schedule A number had come from a 2106. However, TurboTax did not print any 2106. (It didn't need a 2106, since I didn't go over the 2% floor for having Misc Deductions matter.) This is a minor point, but it shows that TurboTax isn't perfect yet.

I have used Turbo Tax for a number of years, and I always feel safe in utilizing it. The fact that I can efile is of benefit because my information isn't going through the mail. The fact that I can have my refund electronically deposited is a plus also.

sAVED TO document file and caan't retreive. It starts to bring up Turbo but stops immediately. At the end it just won't let u file without a lot of hitting continues
