I had to call customer support and it took over 45 minutes to find the right contact and talking to a rep who;s english still required more imersion classes. after one and a half hourswith my problem still unresolved, I asked the rep to emal the solution to me--of course i'm still waiting for herreply.

The program made light work of computing the various percentages and easily provided taxable amounts. Though I find that TurboTax excellent for its complete coverage of taxable situations I would like some way to bypass fields in which I have no income to report or deductions to take. As of now I have no knowledge of how to do that if such programming is included in TurboTax. Thank you for an otherwise great program.

turbo tax is easy to use. you just follow along and fill in the information. its also easy to go back and fix your mistakes. they also have all the forms you need to fill in and there easy to find. i also like that it keeps a running tab of your rebate or what you owe. doing your taxes the next year is even easier because it keeps a record of all your information from the previous years returns.

I was a little afraid to file since my ex-spouse has done it for me the last 22 years, but it was very very easy to file and my fears are gone and I can't wait to help my son do his taxes this year.

A Mixed Bag

I don't really know how/why, my experience this year with TurboTax was the worst ever. I found the navigation between forms and input not that intuitive. I especially did not like the absence of a link between a given form and the underlying input area. Too many twists and turns. It would be great if when I click on a specific FORM and see it and want to go back and change something, that I can't just click on the relevant field and be taken to the input sheet. My biggest problem however was that I accepted some updates in late February when prompted, and I suddenly lost all, all, all of the data I had inputted for 2011, so that I effectively had to redo my 2011 return.

I found this program of TurboTax very easy to use. I used TurboTax for my 2010 taxes and I think that the 2011 version was easier to use. I didn't have a complicated tax return but I feel that even a complicated return would be simple matter using TurboTax.
