Perfect picture and more options than I thought I needed.
Bought it as a second TV for the bedroom. My next TV will also be an LG. Great products.

My LG (lazy girl) Smart TV

I am a senior and disabled and have difficulty lifting with both hands. When the tv was delivered I thought I had to call my son to come over and set it up. I opened the box's and was amazed at how light the tv was. After attaching the legs and placing it on the stand it took me less than three minutes to set up. Lg has configured everything for you. I am so overwhelmed with the features. I get to watch movies and go on line from a tv, in my bedroom ! The picture quality is fantastic. Oh another feature, the tv can be programmed by my cell phone or tablet. This is my first smart tv and for my living room I plan to purchase a larger one. I am truly amazed at this LG product.

Best TV I've had!

I have never had a better tv than this one. My family loves movie nights and my friends love watching games at my house. It's easy to use, and it has amazing image quality.

I bought this LG TV because of the list of features and the price.
The setup was a breeze and I was watching Nexflix within 5 minutes of plugging it it.
The picture was great, the colors vivid and the contrast good. The speakers were adequate for a slim TV but I'd recommend buying the LG Sound Plate to really make things interesting. I'd also recommend buying a universal remote with a QWERTY keypad for easier typing.
Two days after buying this TV I left town for work.
That was 3 weeks ago. I got back to town two days ago I plugged the TV back in and and the trouble started. When I hit the power button on the remote, the TV flashed the "LG welcome" screen for a millisecond and promptly turned itself back off. I have not been able to turn the TV on since.
This is where I stand right now. I called LG and a technician is supposed to come out and have a look at the TV.
Its disheartening that a TV from this brand and price would have a lifespan of less than 6 hours of usage. Hopefully it was just a "lemon" and LG will be able to fix or replace it.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great TV

I purchased another brand of TV, brought it home and quickly realized that there was no way to correct the awful coloring in some shows. Took it back and got this LG LED Smart TV, brought it home and have never had a problem. Color and picture are beautiful. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a 47".

Awesome picture

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had three Samsung OLED HDTV's and this little tv give them a run for their money. The picture is very vibrant and is almost throws out the objects out of the screen at you.

Natural viewing experience but limited smart apps

The natural viewing experience is what attracted us to this TV set compared to other competing brands. The size is ideal for a small living room area. The smart TV features and the variety of apps could be better.
