It isn't that terrible

It's very easy to use, I'd recommend it to a first time phone user. It is very hard to break it, hence, I've dropped it numerous times on many different types of hard surfaces. The phone only has minimal scratches and still functions well. I only have to charge the phone every three or four days if I really barely use it.
Pros: easy to use

Love this phone!

I bought this phone over 3 years ago and love it, especially the REAL keyboard. I've had no problems whatsoever. It is so simple to use and reliable and always has signal (my husband's smartphone frequently drops calls and mine never does). It fits my needs perfectly.

Nice design, needs more customization

I've had this phone for two years now, and I've got to say it's the best phone I've gotten so far, even though it's not saying much. The touchscreen works pretty well, and it took very little to get used to. My friends can't use it well, though, since the screen is pressure-sensitive instead of heat-sensitive.
The keyboard is a bit small, so unless you have pretty small fingers, you're going to occasionally jumble many characters in one word. I don't know if this was just my phone or a defect, but pressing keys will often put multiple of the same character one after another. This will make words like "potttato."
This phone, though basic, offers "Apps" that are not only overpriced, but not the best quality. The music player often lags behind on music, so it pauses and loads the music. This isn't too much of a problem, but it does happen many times during a song.
I wish the operating system offered a bit more customization, since it only offers two themes. It also gives three fonts to choose from, but they look like slight variations of Arial and Times New Roman. Fortunately, the lock screen and home screens can each hold a different photo and there are even different gestures that can unlock the phone.
I would only recommend this phone to someone not after all the bells and whistles of smartphones, but still might like a touchscreen or a slideout keyboard. This is probably not for people looking for smartphones or those who like those older flip-phones. Overall, while it needs a bit more options in customization, it's not horrendous to use.
Pros: Style/Design, easy to use

Very decent phone

So, this phone doesn't have a ton of bells and whistles, but it has been a decent phone for the last two years.
I've always kept this phone in a case, because it feels too slippery without one, and it's extremely sturdy. I've dropped it a few times (usually just falling off my lap or something like that), but it doesn't have a ding on it. I also use it with a screen protector.
Early on there were some issues with picture messages not being the right size, but I think that was a Verizon issue that was fixed... Other than that, I've really had no significant issues with the phone.
I've used it mainly for texting, talking, as a calendar, and as an alarm clock, and it's served me very well. Only recently have I had issues with the touchscreen not registering when I press something and the "m" key on the keyboard either not working or typing too many "m"s at once. But that's only in the last couple of months.
The battery life also used to be about a week. Now it's down to 2-3 days with moderate use, but that's expected from an old phone, anyway.
If you're looking for a decent, no-frills phone, then this is a great choice.
Pros: Performance, easy to use
I would recommend this to a friend!

Works well then after a while of using constantly the screen gets glitchy then breaks and it becomes even more frustrating to use. At least make it tougher
Pros: easy to use
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Phone!

I have had my phone for a few months and have found only a few minor issues. One of which is there is no default T9 issue while texting on the touch screen. Other than that there have been other issues that have been fixed in updates. It has a resistive touch screen which is really nice for me! (others dont like it as much because it is a little different from other touch screens) and I have yet to find a scratch on the screen. Overall i would suggest buying this phone!
