Great Product

This is a great range, extremely well built and solidly constructed. The two things that I would change are the vent on the rear of the cooktop is not conducive to an island installation and the control panel being raised, scratches easily if you are not careful.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Terrible purchase

Bought this oven five years ago. Repaired almost all parts. It just officially died after many repairs. Just found out the product is no longer made! Will never purchase GE appliance after this disappointment

This range has number of excellent features.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This free standing has performed as I expected. There is one fact that I did not recognize until I used the product. The control touch panel is open to splatter from frying pans or boiling pots and does not clean as easily as I would like. Neither does the cooking surface.

Love the double ovens

I purchased my oven about 8 months ago and really enjoy using it. The multiple sizes for the cook top are fantastic giving you many options. The double oven did an outstanding job for my holiday dinners. The only issue I have with my range is with the control panel. I find it way to sensitive. I only have to lean over and can either turn on or off one of the burners.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Stovetop is not as nice as the older model

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The features are nice, particularly the functionality of the double ovens and extra burner options. What I'm not fond of is the surface of the stovetop. The black glass shows the slightest bit of dust, fingerprints, and smudges. I much prefered the ceramic top of the model we purchased when we built our home in 1993. Unfortunately our options were limited since we wanted to stay with a GE profile to fit in the same spot as our old range.

Love this stove, hate the cook top

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had an old GE stove with the ceramic cook top. It was easy to clean. This cook top shows everything and no matter how well you clean it it still looks dirty. I LOVE the dual oven with the convection choices. This stove is easy to use right out of the box. Just wish the top was more user friendly.

Love the oven... hate the smooth top

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The double oven is awesome! For just two of us, it's great to use just the small more-efficient top oven. But then for big crowds, it's wonderful have the space of both ovens. Having 3 shelves in the large oven is great. Having the warming feature is GREAT. I really like the convection part which speeds up cooking. The only thing I don't like about the oven is the smooth top which is a pain to keep clean. Cleaning it every single time is necessary to keep it clean which is a pain. It does look really good when it's kept clean though.

A few glitches

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The stove is beautiful and I love the double oven. However, the manual doesn't address all of the features - such as "pizza". Once selected, the choices frozen or fresh appear. It doesn't matter which one is selected...the oven temp still must be manually set. Can't figure out why the upper oven has the lowest shelf slot. Food, even pizza, doesn't cook correctly at that level. Of course the manual doesn't give that detail. This is my 2nd smooth top, but this one is much harder to keep clean. Everything sticks to it and/or leaves residue. It requires special cleaning solution. No broiler pan. Odd. Because the controls are touch, the stove does feature a "freeze control" button; however, the button only works when the stove is totally off, which means I can't wipe splatters off the control bar while the stove is on without changing settings: turning burns/oven off or on. There is no preset oven or oven temp. Everything must be manually set.
