Great value for the dollars

This products function very well. The support is great. However, I bought the 2gb version, N1A1 NF1, and this unit does not exist on the www.lg.com web site. Which made it next to impossible to register and find online support. Furthermore the documentation on how to access the unit via the internet is poor.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, Quality
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Value for the Money

This product exhibits very good performance and design quality. However, it took a call to Technical Support to get it going as my needs are fairly simple in that I just wanted a network drive accessible from several computers on my local network and as such I really didn't need to get into setting up accounts, etc. for remote access. The setup needs to keep simple things simple, and get into the more complex stuff if your needs call for it. Overall, though, an excellent product.
I purchased the N1A1 1 GB Network Storage for my backups. The setup directions are terrible, the online help is not much better. I still don't think I have it set up correctly.
Pros: Style/Design
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

this device is very easy to use and has so many features the only down side is somewhat difficult to set up and get it going the 4 page installation instructions needs to be extended to about 10 pages including the install for the tablets and iphones, but with a little patience you will get it!! after that your world will change i absolutely love this device!!!
I needed a NAS that was visible to all my operating systems - several flavors of Linux and A MAC. I also needed a print server. This fitted the perfectly. Just plugged in and booted up.Worked perfectly from the start.
Pros: Performance, easy to use, Features/Settings
I would recommend this to a friend!

Hard to use. Clunky, unintuitive user interface. Hard to map to your network, doesn't show up in file explorer.

Very reliable and easy to upgrade

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Super reliable and never failed once in 11 years+, the interface is not to complex but starts to get outdated as the system itself as I'm looking for a Nas supporting Cephfs. Upgating is fairly easy and will do so a third time to replace the 3Gb's for 5Gb+ unless the hardware fails sooner which I don't expect to happen if proper tools and ESD-braces are used.
