I got this as a Christmas gift like 4 years ago. I haven't had any problems, i love my galaxy pro 8.4.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Inexpensive, Built-in speakers

I bought this a couple of years back and I have yet to justify updating it. This unit is by far a well thought out design and performance tablet. 2-3 year later, it continues to offer more than what you find in new tablets, even by Samsung!
The screen is highest resolution yet, size, performance in terms of multi-use and power is by far the leading in tablets. I love this so much that when the connector in the tablet wasn't working, I replaced it because I couldn't justify replacing the tablet. Best buy for me!

Purchased the Samsung Tab 4 Pro 8.4 because of its balanced entertainment and productivity applications. I was interested in three of its built-in productivity apps, the e-Meeting, Remote PC, and Hancom Office. Its high-quality resolution and quad-core processor were also great come-ons. Set up the device and ran it through its usual paces and have been extremely satisfied with its performance relative to the price. No glitches encountered so far. Its ability to take 64GB micro-SD cards and play multiple video formats make it better as an entertainment device than my similar devices from other manufacturers which use other operating systems. The Tab Pro has become my go-to device. I am so satisfied that I will buy the Tab S 10 for its larger screen.

I already had had a pleasant experience with Samsung products as I own a Galaxy smartphone. Although I had originally purchased a tablet with a different operating system (not android), I promptly returned it as I quickly found out that it was not user-friendly, not compatible with my computer, and the manual was written by programmers for programmers. Following this bad experience, I purchased the Galaxy Tablet Pro and had no trouble setting it up - also, it automatically synced with my cell phone and downloaded all the pertinent data and apps.
I absolutely love it - I am no longer a slave to electronic manufacturers with proprietary operating systems that are only compatible with their systems. Additionally, the availability of apps is considerably larger and more extensive with the android operating system.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, very easy to use, good value, light weight, excellent resolution, easy to navigate, has a fast processor, has a great camera, nice display, you name it it has it!
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought my first Tab three years ago and all I can say is this is nothing like it. I have the Tab 4 Pro 8.4 and it does everything I need. Beautiful display, quick response, easy to sync with devices I own. A solid piece of tech, this is why I always return to Samsung. I show it to everyone I know and recommend it always. Only recently started using it more for work and is great for quick document editing. Only complaint I have is how often their models seem to be discontinued.

The Galaxy Pro is lightweight and the best tablet you get for its great features. It is small enough to carry with you any where you go and not be bulky. I love mine and continue to add more to it. I did add a 32 GB memory card just because I had it from my old device.

The screen is bright and clear. It has an micro sd card slot. You can use a mouse and keyboard using bluetooth or usb with adapter. Also Ir blaster to use as a remote control. It has a great memory storage navigator built in. This samsung os will allow you to navigate and move files from internal storage to sd or memory pluged in the micro usb port. It works with files better then stock androld. Also Ipads do not have sd card slots and the iPad sd card reader would not read my 128 gb sd card, but this samsung will read it just fine. It will also support some usb game controllers. This tablet is very light and well built. This tablet does much more then my previous ipad3.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, usb device friendly.
