VERY QUICK DRYING TIME WITH LESS ENERGY USED

WE BOUGHT THE MATCHING WASHER AND WE LOVE THEM BOTH!! Fast drying time and the washer talking to the dryer is AWESOME, all you have to do is toss the clothes from washer to dryer and press START!! Dryer knows what the washer just washed and the dampness for LESS DRYING TIME!! VERY LARGER DRUM and LIGHTED by LED'S, so you don't Loose that one missing sock! WTG, GE WE LOVE OUR NEW WASHER and DRYER and THE COLOR!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dryer receives load information from the washer and sets the needed amount of dry time and recommends a drying cycle. It is quiet, stylish and full of features to make dryer your laundry easy. I especially like the steam features to dewrinkle or refresh your clothes which has dramatically decreased my need to iron.

THE BEST DRYER

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently purchased this dryer and I have to say that it drys my clothes in half the time. maybe because it has the sensor bar.(which my last dryer did not) or maybe because the matching washer we baught spins the clothes so fast they are barely wet. either way I love this dryer thus far. the "clean speak" is wonderful. I like that my dryer gets a signal from the washer to tell it what it should be set to for that particular load to dry, Genious. it also is huge on the inside, I can fit my big king size comforter in it and still have some room for other things. the steam refresh is also a must have on my list now thanks to this dryer. it is so nice to have your wrinkly clothes de-wrinkled. it is also nice to pull out an old blanket from the closet and be able to refresh it in your dryer to get the old stale smell out.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We've always owned GE washers and dryers. We just purchased these for our brand new home and we couldn't love them more! High quality, dependable, and loads of features (pun not intended)! We love the color and the high efficiency of this dryer.

Buzzer Ruins It

It is all ruined by the fact that the buzzer, even on high, isn't loud enough to be heard. Dryer shuts off and clothes lay there to wrinkle. Love this dryer, but would not buy it again or recommend it to anyone solely because of the buzzer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dryer compliments our top loading metallic high-efficiency washer. They are very attractive in our laundry room, causing me to want to show them off to guests when they tour our new home. The dryer is extremely quiet during operation and performs excellently. The features meet every operation need that we have. The only recommendation that I can make for improvement is to increase the volume of the alert buzzer so that it can be easily heard from different areas of the house.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We picked this up the when we bought the matching washer (GTWS8655D0MC) and I could not be happier with it's performance.
Love the smart cable that allows the washer to tell the dryer what setting to use based on the information the washer gathered while washing your clothing.
It is great to see GE return to form in terms of quality of product in the last couple of years.
Also appreciate that this is an excellent product made in the USA.
Looking forward to many years of service from this dryer.

Love this dryer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Can't say enough great things about this dryer. Super easy to use and dries in half the time of my old dryer. I put my Cal King comforter in this and it was dry in 48 minutes. Love the huge drum, the clothes are soft and wrinkle free. I think it's neat how the washer tells it what to do, so simple to use. The only downfall I have found so far is that it doesn't buzz when it's done. Although I love the chimes when it's finished I can't hear it. I can live with it though because the dryer is just awesome!! I could have purchased something cheaper but I wanted something made right here in the USA. That was my main reason for purchasing from GE. Keep up the good work GE! ;-)
