Purchased a full package of GE Profile appliance since I had the profile series for eleven years and never had to have service in all that time.

Size is deceiving

I bought this washer for the size so I could wash large loads- specifically comforters. However, the wash cycle leaves white marks on my black clothing. I was told be GE service I had to 'trick' the washer by keeping the setting on fabric softener and double rinse. This still leaves marks on my clothes periodically and it defeats the whole idea of energy efficient!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love the large capacity and you just load it and start. I do get marks on dark colors when I use liquid fabric softener so I just make sure I use dryer sheets for my good clothes.

This is an amazing washer and the features available are incredible. It's smart, and talks to the dryer with a (they actually supplied it!) network cable. Be sure to use the HE detergent or you will be left with residue on your clothes.

This is the best washer you can ever purchase! Follow the owners manual and your results will be flawless. Remember loading the washer to its right amount and using the correct settings is very important.Also remember H E detergent is needed for this unit.Following these steps my washer works excellent.

Had for 3 months, it's huge!! Used to take comforters to the laundromat, no need with this! Washes our hockey gear no problem and let's the dryer know the size of the load when it's done.
