We purchased this monitor to accompany our daughter's transition to her own room at 6 months old. I was uneasy not being able to check on her as easily, since her room is very dark and I don't want to wake her up. The picture on the monitor is wonderful, the night vision works great. The money we spent on this was WELL worth it. Highly recommend it for nervous moms like me :)

Great range

Just received this monitor and tested it out. We live in a 2 storey home and we didn't lose reception until we were 2 houses down the street from ours. Our baby isn't born yet but I'm certain that this monitor will work great and is exactly what we were looking for.

I bought this last week and it is perfect so far. We have twins and we are able to see them both with the wide range this camera has. The screen is a great size and the night vision makes it easy to see them when the room is dark .I highly recommend it especially for multiples.

Easy to pack up and set up when traveling

We bought this camera last year and began using it when our baby began sleeping in her own room in the crib, after she was 4months old. It's been useful to watch how she might wake up to stretch then go back to sleep. If we only had a sound monitor, we might've retrieved her too early from rising in the morning and naps. Packing this with us when we travel and setting it above the pack n' play has been a breeze. Then we can check from a hotel bed, or adjoining room if the baby's asleep. Sometimes when she's being babysat, a person new to the monitor often accidentally turns on the lullabyes when trying to pan in the crib, due to a few mistaken pushes on the home button instead of the arrows. Now about 9months into use, the pan down button does not work. You can move up and side to side, but not down. So we've zoomed out of the crib as to not need the pan function. This is a nuisance and I'm hoping the warranty will cover a repair. If this hadn't happened, I would've easily given this product 5 stars.

Have had for a few weeks now. We have only used the one camera for our toddler in the mean time until baby number two comes, but even that has been very nice! It's very easy to use, and is quieter than our audio only monitor was. I was a little concerned at first since our daughter sleeps with a radio on, but I figured out how to change the sensitivity down to where it's no issue now and she can still sleep w/ it on. Battery life is excellent. I power it off in the morning and it lasts us for days due to our current situation. The talk back feature is nice and sometimes is enough to soothe her to fall asleep on her own. Haven't tried the lullabies w/ her, but in general are a little different, better than nothing! Love the larger screen! I know some reviews ppl complained about there not being a belt clip. But, really it's so large that I wouldn't want to clip it on my belt anyhow. I do wish the stand was sturdier. Overall, a great product, so happy we got it already!

Great camera, horrible battery

I bought this camera a month ago and was raving to friends how great it was. Big monitor, lots of options, long battery life.
One month in and the rechargable battery has just died on me. Won't recharge at all. So I'm stuck sleeping in baby's room until I can get a new battery.

We've only been using this monitor for a week now but so far we are happy with it. It was very easy to install. The picture quality is good and we love the two-way audio feature (sound quality is excellent). We're still experimenting with the different features of this monitor but so far, it's one we'd recommend.
