We were initially looking for a camera with a phone app, plus a home monitor, since we work crazy hours. However, the quality of those systems was not close to the quality of Levana. The picture and sound are very clear. It's exactly what we were hoping for with the camera and monitor - so much so we were willing to forget the phone app.

Third Time's a Charm

After purchasing and using a very expensive Motorola and similarly expensive Safety First baby monitor, we were left frustrated with how the monitors constantly lost signal. I lost trust in the monitors' ability to give me warning if my baby needed me so we started our search again and came across the Levana Stella. It was reasonably priced and got good reviews. Our research paid off!
Pros: Does not lose signal
Peep mode is great, but could be a bit more sensitive
Battery life is excellent
Camera is very clear and has impressive range of motion

Cons: Handheld display is a bit large
No belt clip
The LED ring is distracting when you are trying to sleep
Peep mode does not pick up on quieter sounds that the baby makes.
