Tons of room

Love how roomy this safe is. It is a security safe, not a fireproof safe, which means the walls are just metal with a carpet lining in the interior; no fireproof lining. 3 shelves offer a lot of flexibilty. The battery compartment is of poor design; if you close the safe too hard the batteries will pop out thus making the combo impossible to use. You'll have to use the key to open and reinsert the batteries. Easy fix is to just put a thin piece of cardboard over the battery compartment and now they seem to stay in place.

Office use

This safe was purchased for my office about 5 years ago and over the years the push buttons have gotten worn out. We got to the point where only a few numbers were able to work and 5 numbers are needed to program--6 mos ago our Fix it guy called Sentry to reorder the push button pad and we were sent a square pad to fit into the round hole. We provided the product identification numbers and were told that this key pad no longer exists!

Great outside construction.

Just received my safe today, opened the door to find the cover to the batteries split apart. The cover for the batteries should be metal nit cheap plastic. Can't get anyone to answer the phone in customer service. Carpet covering the shelves was put on hap hazzardly. Must've been put together on a Friday afternoon.

Just what I expected.

The safe is just what I ordered. I am thoroughly satisfied with the product. I am not satisfied with the shipment. YRC was a terrible transit company with this delivery. I purchased this safe on June 22 and you shipped it on June 22. It arrived in Phoenix on June 24 and moved from truck to truck in their yard for eight days until it was delivered to me on July 1. Terrible handling.by YRC transit.

Lots of Room, Poorly Constructed

The safe has plenty of room on the inside for cash drawers. However, the batteries pop out very frequently. There is no cover over the batteries other than the key hook plate which hooks in over the batteries but is not snug enough to keep them in place.

Good size

The safe is a good size. The smell is overwhelming inside of it. I don’t know how to get rid of it. I am disappointed about the loose fit of the door. Not sure how it will protect against water and/or fire.

Hard to set up but works well

The instructions were not very clear, making the safe harder to set up than it should have been. It also had a broken component on arrival (the plastic internal part that covers the battery box and holds keys). Once set up, the safe itself works beautifully and now (so far) seems very easy to use.
My only other issue is that despite the implication that the safe is water and fire safe, I do not think that’s the case with the model I purchased. I emailed customer support to confirm this but have not yet received a response.
I would recommend this to a friend!
