Once I got it set up, I do appreciate the ease of use. However, there are two things in particular that could be better designed. The cover for the battery compartment is very thin, and in trying to take it off I immediately broke one of the plastic 'hooks'. This is not a robust design. Also, the carpet is glued to the bottom of the safe, which limits access to the bolt holes for securing it to the floor. I used a razor blade to cut a clean flap of carpet so I could put in each bolt, then folded it back down.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Cheaply built--poor quality

Bought safe for jewelry, pistols, papers etc. Over time it became increasingly difficult to open...until the handle sheared off--forcing us to call a locksmith to break into the safe.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The T0-331 is good size safe. Any larger it would weigh too much to handle by my self. I placed large felt pads under the safe approximately 8 of them. I used a hand truck to move the safe in to the house. Once in the house I was able to slide the safe with ease. A little preparing a head of time sure goes a long
way in how and where you place the safe. The safe did have a chemical smell, but I can tell it’s easing up a bite. I read on line the batteries kept falling out if you closed the door hard. Since the inside of the safe is lined with Berber Carpet, I place a piece of Velcro over the batteries and that alleviated the problem. Box that safe came in was a little beat up and once I unboxed the safe it looked great. Very please with over all experience.
