Overall an ok safe for the price. I am lucky it came with a key, as the batteries for the electronic key pad are accessed from inside the safe door. Issue is, that the cover that holds the batteries in place has a gap between the cover and the batteries. This allows the batteries to move out of position just enough that they do not allow the keypad to work. (Even when closing the door as gently as humanly possible). My work around was to attach some foam packing to the inside of the battery cover which ensures the batteries stay in place, (even when the door is slammed in a fit of rage...…….I tested it to that level). This is the second model of safe I have purchased from this manufacturer, I expected better quality than that.

Safe is great - but for one problem. The batteries tend to fall out of the back of the door (inside the safe) - rendering the keypad inoperable. The battery container is cheap plastic with too much space so the batteries pop out unless you are very very careful closing the door. We now use sticky tape to keep them in

Looks strong, but thieves can open it easily

I purchased this safe due to the fact it was marketed as top of the line, drill proof, interior hinges, very safe. I used it to store many valuables. I was victim of a robbery this weekend and thieves were able to access the safe and clear the contents within a few minutes. I was told they can do this by using a powerful rare earth magnet which disables the mechanism. If you are to purchase this, it should be as a firesafe ONLY as it is not secure.

Your initial combination should be something like 12345, so that the key would not be needed to initially open the safe. The plastic bag containing the instructions and keys should not be secured as is. Tape it to the side of the safe... much easier to open. Battery cover should be simplified. The latch is impractical since it made of plastic. It can easily break when attempting to open to replace the battery. Better if the key holder cover slides down over the opening. It doesn't need to be secure because if it's closed, you'll need the combination!

I like this safe, but not the inside. there are key hook on the door that will scratch your arm when putting something in it. It was advertise with mounting holes in the back, it had none. The floor anchor holes were not lined up with the bottom pad. The key is hard to turn .
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this (my second T6331) because I like my first one so much. But something is wrong with the battery compartment on this new unit, leaving the digital code aspect non-functional. I've twice contacted support via the SentrySafe web site but nobody has responded to this day.

Not as expected. The size looks like it is adequate but it really isn’t. It’s hard to put jewelery holders in it without having to turn them which cause items on the holders to shift. The safe came with 1 shelf, not 2 and the pieces the hold the shelf do not come out easy to adjust the shelf height. Fresh batteries were installed and the safe isn’t working so I have to use the key to open it. This safe was intended to be used to replace a smaller sentry safe and I am disappointed in this safe.
