Portable but Strong

My son originally got this safe for my husband and me when we went into a motorhome. Bolted it down and it wasn’t going anywhere. I eventually transitioned into a smaller motorhome and had it bolted down in this one. When I sell this I will take my safe with me and still have it. I have been very pleased with it. Thank you sentrysafe.

I purchased this safe because we have a few of them at my job. I just bought the slightly smaller one which is perfect for my needs. I feel secure with it. Great design, functions well and built tough. I had one of those watertight safe boxes and all of my documents got moldy. This one isn’t air tight so I will not have that issue, but I put a few desiccant bags in there anyway. So if you’re looking for an easy to use safe, that makes you feel secure, this one is it. My suggestion is that you register it with Sentry in case you ever lose your back up keys, you won’t have any issues.

False Sense of Security

Bought this safe a year ago to keep items some valuables safe from theft. However, one if the mechanical components inside the safe has jammed not allowing me to open even with the code or spare key. After researching online, found that using a metal close hanger, this safe is very easy to open. Do not recommend purchasing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Overall I love sentry mode X055 safe. Great size for the price. Secure enough for my use. Convenient Combo/Key access. Easy battery replacement. Great price. All of those point make for an excellent value in a persona safe.
The only negative point about the safe is that my new in the box safe was delivered without the factory instruction sheet. Fortunately the default factory combo was easy to find as were the instructions for the safe.
