The thief needed 2 minutes to get into safe using pick... The welding is very poor (just one doth every 8 inches). That caused the door plate to separate from the rest... In addition to that opening mechanism is prompt to malfunctioning.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Our safes are meant to deter theft, but no safe is made that will stop all thieves. Given the right knowledge, time, patience, and tools it is possible to breech any safe. In this case no safe would have stopped them.

…..but, about 1/2 the time when I shut the door, the inside panel, which holds The batteries in, so that the electric panel will work, comes off. That’s when the batteries fall out and you must use a key to get the door open instead of using the electronic panel which is what the safe is all about to begin with. I think this is a major flaw and should be fixed before the next version of a safe is made.

I love this safe and I have had it so long (20 years) I needed to replace the digital keypad. Very pleased that I could order a replacement keypad (P/n - P50395). It makes the safe seem like new.. looking forward to another 20 years with this safe..

Safe is around 10 years old and the keypad is shot and not replaceable, parts not available. Planned obsolescence.
