remote not working

well i said it it all. i cant get remote to work right out of box, not way to find out anythging. can someone help me?

Best fan I've ever owned

This is a powerful, yet extremely quiet fan. I've bought cheap fans at big box stores and I never thought there was much difference between pedestal fans. I was wrong, this fan is amazing. It's so quiet you forget it's running. It's powerful enough to cool a big living room. The Turbo Blast feature is very nice for a quick blast of cooler air. It adjusts easily from high to low and the fan tilts to reach any angle. It is easy to put together and can be done in 30 minutes or less. The only thing I wish it had was a lock on the touch pad so curious toddlers couldn't mash the buttons. My kids are intrigued by this fan and unfortunately love playing with the settings. That being said, it's simple enough to use that a two-year-old knows how to adjust the speeds and turn it on and off. I love this fan and would absolutely recommend it to friends and family and I will look to buy more Rowenta products in the future.

Quality, efficient fan

I was worried about having a stand fan because we have cats. However, the base was extremely sturdy, making it very difficult to knock over. It did fall once and worked just fine afterwards. The remote control feature is awesome. That combined with the quiet and effectiveness make it a great fan for our room-- no getting out of bed to change the speed. The slim fan also does a great job cooling the whole room without taking up too much real estate. Overall, very pleased and would recommend to friends and family!

So I just purchased this fan and I did a lot of research and heard it was one of the best I needed something that was quiet when I’m sleeping at night with my wife and also good features that it came with a remote so I just got in the mail today which is 7/16 2022 and set it up everything is fine but the remote does not work with all the features I can powered on with the remote but as far as changing certain features on the remote like the fan speed or putting on turbo boost or you know energy saver or the timer it does not work for some reason I’m not why, very disappointed the fan itself is good the remote does not work with all the features I think the remote is defective
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very quiet fan!

I am impressed with this fan to a point... The fan has many options for use (silent, turbo, etc.) and created a lot of air movement. It even has a remote if that kind of thing is something you need. I have used a fan at night for background noise and after using the Rowenta fan a couple of nights I went back to my turbo jet sounding fan, the Rowenta was not loud enough for me. It is quite heavy (maybe 30 lbs.) and I wasn't too impressed with the design on the base (the post is held together by tightening a screw against a metal pipe but doesn't seem sturdy). But if you are looking for a silent fan, this is the one!!!

Pain to put together.

Assembly instructions are just drawings, and not good ones at that. Didn't know I had to build a fan! I got the fan part together, but can't get it to fit on the pole. No instructions. It doesn't fit. Had someone else look at it, went online for instructions. It won't fit on the pole. Therefore I can't use it and it will be returned. MAJOR PAIN IN THE BUTT!

I bought the fan for my husband who is in a nursing home. But it has been too cold here to use the fan but I am sure it will be fine in the summer, although it may be too large for his room.

Man does this thing have some weight to it. I'm hoping that's a sign of a quality build. Went together out of the box really easily and plugged it right in. I am really enjoying the time function in the unit as I can turn it on when I hop in bed when it's warm at night and it's off when I wake up and it's cold. The fan blows air pretty well. I'd say a little better than the standard fan you can get now, but not quite as good as my old cast iron antique "finger remover" fan. The fan itself is really quiet and in part I like that when I'm working, but I kind of like the white noise for sleeping. Guess I'll have to get a machine for that now. Haven't tried the remote yet because I continuously forget to buy a battery at the store, but I'll get there.
