I loved this fan but...

I have had this fan for 2 years and it has been working wonderfully but it is not a well-balanced design making it difficult to move. The connections between the base and the upper part of the fan are plastic so over time with moving the fan to vacuum the connector loosened and wouldn't tighten well. Recently, I moved the fan and the top portion of the stem pulled to the full height and would not return to the original height which made the fan top heavy and I began to hear a bit of a rattle due to the full extension. This fall when I moved it to storage it came apart and discovered the plastic connector cracked off entirely. I am not sure if the fan will be usable this summer since it is now in 2 pieces. I love Rowenta products but the design of this fan is terrible. I give

Best product I have bought. It is very easy to handle, easy to assemble. Remote and timer are good.

Yes this fan has a silly (but fun) name... But YES its very quiet.
Its also very well made, and powerful in turbo mode.
Assembly was beyond easy, and there are no squeaks or any issues after one year of constant use.

I now have 4 of these fans--they're the BEST!! I particularly like (and mostly use) the "silent night" setting. I have one fan that stays on all night in my bedroom, using this (truly!!) silent setting. But having exceptional hearing, I mostly use this wonderful setting (don't know if this is a feature of any other fan--but I doubt it) WHENEVER I turn on these fans, as it doesn't interfere with anything else, even conversations, happening in whatever rooms the fans are in: YEA!! However, ALL the fan settings are equally useful, as you can enter 1 of 3 speeds on the "turbo" setting, or select "energy saving" running. I cannot recommend this Rowenta product enough!!!

I bought it 3 years ago. Both, the stand alone and the desk top. The desk top was stolen in spring 2025 and during that time, the stand alone go damaged. I miss them. I am working on getting the stand alone repaired and filed a theft report with the police department for the desk top. Thankful, I have a detective working on finding it. Please keep me in prayer. The closet repair is in Columbia, SC and I live in GA. It is a surprise there is not a repair shop in Metro Atlanta, GA; which I do not understand. I could get it repaired faster. Hopefully, one will be established soon and in the NC Triad area too: Greensboro, Raleigh, Durham, NC. Okay!!!!

The fan works great. Very quiet. The only issue is that it is heavy. if you don't move the fan around it doesn't matter and I would give it 5 stars. However, I need to move it between rooms and with a bad should it can be difficult.
