Simple, Sturdy Fan

We typically use big box fans in our house, so I was eager to try a smaller fan out to see how it compares. This fan took a little bit of work to put together out of the box (have a smaller Phillips head screwdriver on hand) but is pretty self explanatory. There's 2 standard speeds, a "turbo" speed, and a quiet speed. I'm not sure what's so "turbo" about this particular speed, it just seems like a "high" setting to me. The quiet speed really is quiet, great for if you needed a little bit of air flow at night but preferred having as little sound as possible.

Best fan I've ever owned

I bought this fan for my bedroom, it's the best fan I've ever bought it's so quiet I can't even hear it running. It costs more than most fans on the market but it's well worth the money as it's a better quality made fan. I had bought a different brand of fan and took it back because it was too loud and very cheaply made. I'm so happy I put out the extra money and bought a Rowenta I plan on buying another one for my living room, it's the only brand I will ever buy.

Fantastic fan - silent but effective

I have tried dozens of fans but none - even fans 2-3 its size - have been as powerful. It's size and the fact that it produces very little sound make it perfect for apartments, dorm rooms or as a bedroom fan. It easily cools my entire living room and noticeably improve circulation throughout an entire floor of my house. I've been using it just about every night and has operated perfectly since I got it. It has worked well as a table top fan or a floor fan.

What a great fan. I'm a very light sleeper and even the slightest noise keeps me up. I love how quiet this fan is and with the remote control I can control the speed while still in bed. I usually start off at a high speed and then sometime in the middle of the night will slow it down as it gets cooler. The fan also fits my decor very well. It is modern and retro at the same time.

Outstanding Fan

This is the 3rd Rowenta fan that I have purchased. They are quiet running fans but more importantly, they really move the air around. We have the two smaller ones in our bedroom and the larger one in my office. We really like these fans.

quietest fan I've ever had

I bought one for my living room based on the reviews. I live in AZ so I've had my share of fans, most performed as promised, but none were quiet. I was blown away (no pun intended) at the lack of noise without giving up performance. Just received my second one last week for my bedroom. THIS is a fan you want went trying to fall asleep, and staying cool.

Great fan but face plate rusts

Amazing fan, well designed, quiet, strong. Face place will rust within a year. No, I don't live in a humid area or on the beach.
